This group is for learning and sharing knowledge. There is no fee to join the list; the only time participants will pay a fee is when they send actual textiles to Laura for evaluation.

Two or three times a year, participants can take the challenge to design and weave a particular type of textile which is sent to Laura along with the weaving records for their textile.

Laura will evaluate the textiles, then cut them apart so that each participant will receive the weaving record complete with sample for future reference.

The fee charged is to cover the cost of photo-copying the weaving records for each person, the cost of shipping them back to each participant and a small amount for Laura’s time and advice.

Communication on the list itself will revolve around the current challenge or whatever other subjects of interest to the list participants.
