Linen and cotton towels
Posted: February 3, 2008 - 25
The warp for these towels was a 2/20 merc. cotton. I used up various singles 20 linen tubes for weft. The pattern was based on a 12 shaft "fancy" twill, separated by areas of four shaft point twill.
The reed marks were quite obvious in the loom - less so in the finished cloth.

Bambu 12 scarf
Posted: September 14, 2007 - 22
These scarves were woven with Silk City's Bambu 12 yarn and a wool/lycra. The lycra contracts in the wet finishing making a "collapse" fabric. The bamboo yarn is very drape-able making a very soft fabric.
There are "surplus" sample pages left after completing the assembly of Magic Plus Two. They may be purchased for $7.50 each including shipping, or buy 10 for $50.00 including shipping in Canada and the US.
